Scholarship by the Naumann-Etienne Foundation for a Master´s Degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia (USA)

Call for Applications

The Naumann-Etienne Foundation supports students of computer science, biotechnical engineering, electrical engineering and economical engineering.  Scholars have the opportunity to do their masters at Georgia Tech within one to two years. Every year two students will be selected from different technical universities in Europe.

Coverage:

  • Scholarship up two 2 years
  • Monthly payment for housing and living expenses (abut $1000)
  • Full coverage of study fees (may be cut when student works as teaching assistant)
  • Travel fees from and to home country

Applicants:

  • should finish their bachelor studies by Spring Semester 2023, the latest
  • study of computer science, biotechnical engineering, electrical engineering and economical engineering
  • must have very good academic achievements
  • must have good English knowledge 
  • must have skills in communication and cooperation
  • meet criteria of faculty in Atlanta (for example GRE or GMAT)

Application process:

First applicants should apply at BME. BME selects the best students meeting the requirements, and after that a representative of the foundation views the applications and meets them for a personal interview in Budapest, Hungary sometime in the middle of November 2022.  Selected students then have to apply at GeorgiaTech again.

Steps of the application procedure

1. Fill out the online form

Please note:

  • the form is only accessible with an @edu e-mail adress
  • the form cannot be saved in the meantime, so prepare all necessary documents before filling it out
  • use Chrome or Firefox to reach the form
  • it is a simple form, takes about 10 minutes to fill

2. Upload the following nevessary documents:

  • 2 recommendation letters by 2 professors of their faculty
  • language certificate: TOEFL 100
  • convincing motivation letter (about 1,5-2 A4 page long)
  • study plan based on GeorgiaTech courses with specifications -please indicate what kind of courses would you like to take
  • BSc degree certificate if you have already, or a certificate issued by Central Academic Office that you will get it by the end of Spring Semester 2022
  • transcprit of records in English (can be asked from Central Academic Office)
  • GRE or GMAT Certificate
  • signed and scanned Declaration of Liability (download from here) in which you accepts the fact that if you are selected you will be asked to represent BME at GeorgiaTech
