CY Tech 2025 Summer School Programs

We are very happy to send you the brochure of 3 exciting new short-term programs offered at CY Tech: our 3-week Summer schools in the following topics:

 - Artificial Intelligence &  Visual Computing;

Xamk Summer School of Gaming 2025

Xamk is arranging the Xamk Summer School of Gaming (3 ECTS) on 4 – 10 August, 2025. We are delighted to invite your students to spend a week in the beautiful city of Mikkeli!

The Summer School will focus on Essentials of Video Game Creation (3 ECTS) and will teach you how to create a video game by studying concept design and development. You will learn in practice how to develop a basic game concept, from an idea to a pitch, without needing to have a background of previous gaming studies. 

The classes will be held by gaming industry professionals:

• Dr. Jan Storgårds: with over 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, he is entrepreneur, Director of CADGI (Cambridge Academy of Games and Innovation) and CEO of Cambridge Gamechanger ltd. International Summer School for German Language and Culture

Our Summer School for German Language and Culture is aimed at all international students who are interested in getting to know Germany, would like to gain an intercultural experience with students from all over the world and enjoy spending a summer abroad. No previous knowledge of the German language is required since the program includes an intensive language course on different levels as well as a regional studies module that prepares the students for our various excursions. In addition, we offer a diverse social and excursion program including visits to local companies, TU Braunschweig facilities and fun activities in and around Braunschweig as well as day trips to different exciting German cities.

This year, we offer a 4-week and a 6-week option so that students can decide individually, how long they would like to stay in Braunschweig:

Summer and Winter University - University of Freiburg

Affiliated to the University of Freiburg, the Summer and Winter University of the Language Teaching Centre SLI offers short-term language and culture immersion programs to students from all over the world. 

Our program 2025 includes a wide range of language and content courses in German and English, including specialized courses in Medical German, German for Natural Sciences and Engineering, German for Business and Economics, German for the Tourism Industry as well as Training for German Language Teachers. The courses take place at the University of Freiburg in the months of March, August and September. 2025 CNU Summer School

We are pleased to announce that 2025 CNU summer school SSIS (Summer Session for International Students) will be held from 30 June to 25 July 2025. This program is for partners exclusively and we provide it with very reasonable price (900USD) which covers tuition, accommodation and field trips. Since the enrollment capacity is 60 students only, it is first come and first served.

Stpe 3. Pay the program fee USD 900 through oversea transfer by 23rd May.

* The sender's name should be the same as the applicant. (Otherwise, we can't find the payment record.)

* If there are service charges/commissions occuring during transfer, sender should pay for those extra other than program fee 900 USD.  

Stpe 4. Receive an invitation letter after payment. 

* If applicant needs the original paper for VISA application, send me an email right after the application with their postal address. 

Step 5. Acaquire entrance permit to South Korea (Short-Term Visitor's VISA or K-ETA)

* Participant should figure out what type of entrance permit is needed for them, depending on citizenship. 

* Consult with the Korean embassy in home country and follow their guidance. 

* When VISA application is necessary, please contact by email (sujinlee@cnu.ac.kr) as soon as possible.  

Step 6. Book the flight and arrive CNU. 

* As long as a VISA or K-ETA allows, participant can enter into South Korea earlier than program start date. 

  However, CNU dormitory is only available from 30th June.  

* CNU dormitory check in is strictly open from 9am and close 6pm at 30th June. (12:00-13:00 lunch break)

  If arrival time is not between designated time, participant should find the place to stay outside on their own. 

  It is unfortunate to inform no-flexibility of dorm arrival policy and I should ask participant's understanding and cooperation.  

Incheon international airport(ICN) is three hour far from Daejeon city, so I highly recommend to arrive at ICN before noon.

Waseda Summer Session 2025

We offer this once-in-a-lifetime 6weeks program for Undergraduate students worldwide from June 16 to July 24, 2025.

Whether they want to explore their academic interests or Japanese unique cultures, our summer session provides the perfect opportunity.

Your students will also have the chance to meet new friends, including local students and experience campus life at Waseda.

Participants will choose 2 or 3 subjects out of 16 subjects in the context of Japan and Asia Pacific and can earn　4-6 credits (2 credits for each*).

Dankook University International Summer School 2025

Programs:
Our summer programs provide students with opportunities to earn credits, engage in cultural exchange, and immerse themselves in Korean culture. The programs available next summer are the usual:

1. Global Village (June 18 – July 4, 2025): 3-week teaching internship designed for native or fluent speakers of various languages. Up to $1000 flight reimbursement and free dormitory provided.
2. Academic Program (July 5 – August 1, 2025): 4-week program offering academic courses across multiple disciplines, complemented by various cultural activities and field trips.
3. Korean Immersion Program (August 4 – 22, 2025): 3-week intensive language program focused on Korean language and culture.

Important Dates:

• GV Application Deadline: March 16, 2025 
• AP Application Deadline: April 30, 2025
• KIP Application Deadline: May 31, 2025

Students can apply directly online through summer.dankook.ac.kr starting February 1, 2025.
