IP "Transferable Skills and Student Support", THM Giessen, Germany, October 27 to 31, 2025
Are you curious about ways that universities (for applied sciences) can support student success?
The Centre for cooperative Teaching and Learning (ZekoLL) and the International Office (IO) of THM University of Applied Sciences warmly invite you and all interested colleagues to attend ZekoLL's Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Transferable Skills and Student Support: Shaping Learning Pathways". The event will take place from October 27 to 31, 2025 at THM Campus in Giessen, Germany. It provides a unique opportunity to connect with fellow educators from across Europe who share a commitment to enhancing student success. We believe that each participant will both contribute to and gain from the rich exchanges and collaboration opportunities this program offers.
Please note that this event is designed specifically for university staff and faculty members. We hope this focus will foster an environment of professional development and collaboration. Those interested in attending can apply for Erasmus+ funding through their home university to cover travel expenses.
The final day to register is September 1, so reserve your spot now at https://www.thm.de/zekoll/bip-2025.
We kindly encourage you to forward this invitation to any other colleagues who might be interested in joining us. We look forward to welcoming you and your colleagues to Giessen this October!

We are happy to announce and invite your students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programmes organized at the University of Trento during the Fall Semester 2025.
Your students will have the opportunity to engage in real life problems, find creative solutions and gain relevant skills for their future in an international environment in contact with business companies and public organizations.
Here is the programme of each BIP organized according to the Erasmus+ rules: a combination of physical mobility (5 days) and virtual activities awarding a minimum of 3 ECTS:
SOI 153 - Second Life, First Choice: Rethinking Second-Hand Bicycles Across Europe
SOI 154 - Futureproof Tourism: Co-Designing Sustainable Journeys in Vallagarina
Your students can apply here: SOI Admission application 2025/26 S1
Deadline: September 17, 2025
Selection will be made by the Organizer (our SOI-School of Innovation), so your students are welcomed to directly apply.
In a second stage, we will back to you if your students are selected.
SOI also organizes a webinar (Wednesday, August 27, 6PM online) for all students to understand more about the programmes and how to apply (They may sign up here).
When we are sure to have on board the minimum participants for BIP regulation, we will send to you the instructions for linking the students to the right BIP in the Beneficiary Module.
In the worst case we don't collect the minimum number of students for any challenge, we won't report the programme as a failed BIP, but you can simply import these mobilities as Erasmus short term mobility within the system.
We kindly seek for your collaboration in encouraging your students to participate and supporting them through Erasmus+ short term mobility (you can cover the grants with Er+ or other funds).
