BIP @UNIBS - Combined Structural and Energy upgrade of buildings in rural areas

We are currently organizing a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) called Combined Structural and Energy upgrade of buildings in rural areas.

This Programme will investigate the historical stratification of a mountain village in the Province of Brescia, the construction and strengthening techniques, the types of materials and their origin, the state of conservation of the buildings and the most frequent structural systems used. 

This BIP is designed for undergraduate, master and PhD students of Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture who are interested in building rehabilitation from different points of view: historical, materials, structural or energy.

Language of instruction and requirements: English (minimum level B2)

Dates and Location for Physical Activity:

• University of Brescia (Sept 8-10) Department Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics (DICATAM), Via Branze 43, Brescia (Italy);
• Mountain village in the Province of Brescia (Sept 11 and 12)

Dates for virtual component:
N.B.: The time reference should be intended as Central European Summer Time (C.E.S.T., UTC +2)

• 4th September 2025: 3 hours (5-8 PM  C.E.S.T.) held by UNIBS
• 5th September 2025: 3 hours (10 AM-1 PM  C.E.S.T) held by UNIZAR
• 18th September 2025: 3 hours (5-8 PM  C.E.S.T.) held by USMB

The programme will award 3 ECTS to the participants. Both virtual and physical components are mandatory.

Invitation to Blended Intensive Program (BIP) - Université Côte d'Azur

We are glad to disseminate the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) offer of IMREDD/Université Côte d’Azur : 5 Oceans, 5 Colonies – Sculpting Future Living : Architecture On and Below Water in Nice 21-31 July 2025.

• Dates :

Online session of the Blended Intensive Programme : July 6th and 13th two half-day online sessions

Physical component of the BIP : July 21–31, 2025

• Limited to 5 European Erasmus BIP status participants (the BIP is also open to the Ulysseus Alliance). Don’t wait—selections are made on a rolling basis, with confirmation sent within five business days. Spots are limited, and the call will close as soon as we reach full capacity. Apply early!
• The program fee is €1,000 for students & €1,500 for professionals/ researchers

Tuition may be covered through scholarships or third-party sponsorships. The program fee does not include living nor mobility expenses during the 11-day in-person session.

• Application deadline : May 15th 2025 for students (priority to Master and PhD students) and June 2^nd for staff.

Open to transdisciplinary speculative thinkers, professionals, researchers, and students (Phd’s & master’s level, confirmed bachelors too) in architecture, design, engineering, urban planning, environmental science, and related fields —this program is for those eager to break disciplinary boundaries, engage in extreme survival simulations, and push the limits of what’s possible.

BIP Project on Social Entrepreneurship – July 2025, Turkiye

This BIP will include both virtual learning components and a five-day face-to-face training session, which will take place in Gümüşlük, Bodrum (Turkiye), from 7–11 July 2025. You can find further details in the attached poster.

As the coordinating institution, TED University (TEDU) will be responsible for organizing the program and covering the organizational costs. We are currently seeking partner institutions that are interested in participating by sending students to this BIP.

As you know, within the Erasmus+ BIP framework, partner institutions are expected to:

• select and nominate eligible students for the program,
• cover the travel and individual support costs of their students from their KA131 budget.

If your institution would like to be part of this exciting initiative, we kindly ask you to confirm your interest by May 20, 2025.

We would like to inform you about an Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) taking place at our university in November 2025 and kindly ask you to forward the information to your students and staff.

The BIP "Transforming Healthcare with AI: Bridging Knowledge, Practical Applications, and Adoption" in the field of Digital Health will take place in presence from Friday, 07.11.2025 -  Friday, 14.11.2025 at our European Campus in Pfarrkirchen.

In case that you have students who are interested, please send us the nomination (see nomination sheet attached) no later than 01.07.2025.
Since spots are limited, selected students will be accepted and informed about the further application process after the nomination deadline.

BIP QUALITY4PPP RO BUCURES43

The Blended Intensive Programme QUALITY4PPP (People Planet Performance) is organized aiming to improve skills of students and graduates in the field of applied quality engineering, to facilitate networking and support customer-focus culture, process approach, risk-based thinking and customer protection policies.

The modules target students (bachelor and master), PhD students, specialist interested in quality engineering applications in different sectors, services and business. Projects and applications will be customised in line with the students level so as to acquire technical and transversal skills and promote teamwork. In total, the BIP activity awards 3 ECTS, meaning 75 hours of activity.

Between May, the 19th and the 23rd, activities on site / in presence in POLITEHNICA Bucharest are organised, followed by online activities until May, the 30th, 2025, preliminary schedule, attached.

Atlantic shoreline - sustainable artistic practices

Since immemorial times, Portugal has had a strong connection to the Atlantic Ocean, famously described by the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa as the salted tears of the nation. Its coast was once peopled by Crusader fleets, Viking raiders, Muslim pirates, English privateers, and the oceanic voyages that brought about the first globalization and the beginning of the Modern Era. Its beaches are still inhabited by fishermen and holidaymakers. Several projects are looking for the sustainability of fishing and the sea itself.

This BIP aims to bring fresh eyes and creativity in discovering artistic, sustainable ways where the Sea and its landscapes can accommodate the human presence to create new meanings and possibilities.
